The Hydraulic Firing Head is designed for initiating perforating system by applying intended pressure. In this type of Firing Head, a circulating ball is pumped down and seal the piston to prevent circulation which cause tubing to be pressured up to supply predetermined energy to shear the shear pins. By shearing of pins, firing pin is released and cause the initiator to detonate. After firing, tubing pressure is vented to wellbore annulus.
